February Highlights

If I don't get on this blogging train I am going to have to just give highlights for every month. I am hoping to find some time to really catch back up but you know how that goes!! Stick with me, it will happen soon. February brought lots of fun times with our family and our extended family.
VALENTINE'S DAY TEA PARTY
Aunt Bree hosted a Valentine Tea Party the day before Valentines for all the little girl cousins. And, of course, the little boys got to come too. What's a party without Spencer and Wyatt?? The girls had so much fun and Aunt Bree is an amazing party planner. She is a great cook and makes everything so much fun for the kiddos. Mia, Emma and Kari waiting for their little tea lunch of heart shaped sandwiches, grapes, pink lemonade tea, cookies, and these really yummy pretzels with chocolate on them.
All of the little ones together. It is really hard to get a good picture of 8 kids who range from ages 14 months to 5 years old. This is as good as it gets!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
My dear sweet husband never forgets to send me flowers on Valentines Day. He is amazing and I am totally spoiled!! He does such a great job picking out just the right arrangement and always orders a really cool vase to go with them. I think he loves me, what do you think????
We always decorate the table the night before so when the kids get up they have a special surprise waiting for them. This year they all got books and an outfit. I love shopping for holidays, so much fun.
DRAPER TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE
Living here in Utah has given us many opportunities to learn more about our Church and our Temples. We took the kids to the Draper Temple Open House this month and they just loved it. What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon as a forever family. Brittany and Tristan attended the Houston Temple Open House with us a few years ago but didn't really remember much. This was Emma's first time inside a temple and she was amazing. She walked around the entire time with her arms crossed because she said we needed to be reverent, after all, this is Heavenly Father's home. She has such a sweet spirit and is a great example to us all.
