Turkey Day

We spent Thanksgiving in Placerville with my sister, Tammi and her family.  We don't get to see them very often so it is nice to be able to spend holidays together.  We also took Nic, Britt's boyfriend with us.  This was his first trip with our family and I was praying that we didn't scare him off!!
We woke up to the wild turkeys calling so I grabbed my camera and my hubby and headed out for a morning walk.  By the time we reached the pasture the turkeys were already hightailing it up the road.   On the way back we stopped to check out Lorenzo, the Llama.  He is cool to look at as long as you don't get too close, he likes to spit!!
After our walk we got ready, got the kids ready, packed the cars and went to Grandma & Grandpa Buxtons house to celebrate with the family.
The weather was beautiful.....not too warm but warm enough tho spend the day outside.  There was lots of chillin' out on the deck.....
......Ping-pong and basketball playing.....Britt's idea of basketball is a little different than everyone elses.  I have always said that she marches to the beat of her own drum!!!
All that playing made us really hungry!!  Jordan, Britt and Nic were ready to sit down and get eating.  It's a good thing that there is always lots of yummy food on Grandma's Thanksgiving Table.  So thankful to be able to spend the day with our families!!
