One of the last activities on our Advent Activity Calendar was to bake cookies. The kids chose to make Deer Cookies, Sugar Cookies and Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies.
Working on the Sugar Cookies - we had more dough and flour on the table and the floor than we had cookies on the pan.
Our Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies were a bit too dry so they crumbled when we put the kisses in. Oh well, we will try again next year.
I have to admit that our Cookie Baking Day didn't turn out any delicious cookies but we did have lots of fun making a HUGE mess. The best part of the day was getting to hang out with my kiddo's all day, something that doesn't happen near enough now that they are growing up!!
