Thursday night our activity was to look at Christmas lights and have homemade hot cocoa. The neighborhoods around us spare no expense when it comes to decorating. Our first stop was Wakefield Court. AMAZING!!
Each yard has a sign that tells the Night Before Christmas story as you walk around the neighborhood.
Some of these houses were totally out of control. I am glad that I don't have to pay their electric bills this month. Not only were the houses decorated so were the light poles, mailboxes and each house had strands of lights that ran across the street to the other houses so that you were walking or driving under a canopy of lights. Very cool.
No light display is complete without the jolly old man, Santa Clause. This year he was riding in on a tractor.
It was pretty neat to read how the neighborhood came to decorate like this. What a fun place to live during the holidays.
