One activity on our advent calendar last week was to make gingerbread houses. Me, being so prepared, had all the stuff ready to make these houses, right? Wrong!! I completely forgot to make a trip the store and had to come up with a last minute plan.
Thankfully, while buying a few last minute ingredients for dinner I saw these Rice Krispie House kits. I really liked them since we would be able to eat them after we were done making them. The kids seemed to enjoy them too but insisted that next year we make REAL Gingerbread houses.

The best part of the night? Getting to eat our treats!!
